Pour Over Will

A pour over will is used in conjunction with a trust and serves to transfer all of a deceased individual’s property to a trust. The pour over provision provides that any property not already in the trust is transferred to the trust upon the individual’s death. This has the advantage of administering all assets under one document while maintaining the privacy of a trust, which does not become a part of the public record.
